The music concerts, people cheering and fireworks, it was all normal but soon all joy turned into nightmare. What sounded like fireworks at first was actually the sound of firearms being fired on the crowed.

A massive crowed of 22000 people under the target of one lunatic. There was no place to escape the bullets coming towards them as they were being fired from 32nd floor of a building. As of now it has been confirmed that at least 59 people have been killed and 527 injured, either by gunfire or

    Prepare yourself

1- Get yourself familiar  with your locality.

2- Keep in mind the  possible escape routes and safe places while driving on road.

3-If your workplace is in the riot hit zone then better know all the escape routes in case of any attack by mob.

Keep close your loved ones .

If you’re travelling with your loved ones, then grip the hands or lock elbows with all of the people who are with you. If you’re with a child, hold him in your arms so he doesn’t get trampled. Stick together.

    Drive your car carefully.

1-When you are driving in a riot zone then don’t let a few angry people stop you from driving your car and keep going unless you absolutely can’t.

2- While driving stay firm, but not aggressive, to avoid giving the wrong impression.

Move away from the riot calmly.

  • The S.P.G. Commandos of PM Modi.

This 15th August India will celebrate it’s 71st Independence Day. The Indian prime minister Shri Narendra Modi will Unfurl the Indian National flag over the red fort.

The security of PM Modi is a big challenge due to his extravagant love for his supporters . If we take reference from our past prime ministers, it’s a clear warning that going off guard is not a good idea.

However PM Modi never hesitate in taking such risks. So it’s all on the security guards to be prepared for the worst conditions.

Special Protection Group (SPG) was formed in  8 April 1985 after the assassination  of Indira Gandhi in 1884. At first SPG was formed and trained specially to provide protection to Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi, because of the threats he received from several sources. But, when he ceased to be Prime Minister the security was withdrawn. After the assassination of Rajiv Gandhi in May 1991, the SPG Act was amended in 1991 to provide security to former Prime Ministers and their immediate families for a period of 10 years from the date on which the former Prime Minister ceased to hold office.

Here are some details on the weapons and dress code of the SPG  commandos.

    • 5.56x45mm NATO caliber, Belgium-made rifle is the primary weapon. It fires 850 rounds per minute within the range of 500m.
    • The Secondary weapon is FN Five-Seven semiautomatic pistol with a range to fire 5.7mm caliber bullets up to 50m.

    •  Commandos use tactical eyewear which provides them protection against splinters and a ballistic shield to prevent any distraction from foreign objects.
    • Agency procures light weight and high grade bulletproof vests categorized as level-3 Kevlar. These specialized vests weighing over 2.2 kgs can withstand a 7.62- caliber bullet fired from 10m from an AK-47 which can be considered an impressive capability.
    • Further special knee and elbow pads along with non-skid combat boots are part of the gear.

  • Why we need more movies like Lipstick under my Burkha?

After all the controversies “Lipstick under my Burkha” directed by Alankrita Shrivastava  made it’s way to the big screen.

The movie is about the secret lives of four woman living in a patriarchal society and seeking freedom.

The movie depicts a Muslim girl struggling with cultural Identity and her desire to become a Pop Singer. A Beautician seeking to escape her small town out of claustrophobia. A oppressed housewife who is also a enterprising saleswoman. And a 55 years old widow who rediscovers her sexuality.

Looking at the synopsis one can easily understand that the movie is all about woman and their struggles.

Here are few reasons why we need more woman centered movies.

1- The grass is always greener on the other side. A problem can not be solved without it being understood thoroughly.

2- Indians are not very comfortable with discussing these subjects. These movies will get people talking on these topics.

3- It will help in giving speed to the struggle for woman empowerment and giving equal rights to women.

4- Crime against women is committed every three minutes in India. 65% of men believe that woman should tolerate violence in order to keep their family together.

5-Religious intolerance. Whether it’s condition of widows in India or the oppressed Muslim women. These issues are ignored just because of it’s religious connection.

  • The Nirbhaya Incident and Its After effect

Like all the other cases of murder & rape this case would also have been forgotten but when a documentary “India’s Daughter” was released by BBC News it brought with it more shame to the country and anger in people all over the world.

The documentary showed the rape victim Mukesh Singh Blaming the girl for the rape. In His words… “A decent girl won’t roam around at nine o’clock at night. A girl is far more responsible for rape than a boy,” he said.Housework and housekeeping is for girls, not roaming in discos and bars at night doing wrong things, wearing wrong clothes. About 20% of girls are good.”

The documentary also showed the lawyers in the case blaming the girl for what happened to her. The documentary stunned the whole world and shamed India but the rapists felt no regret, no shame.

There were protests all over India for bringing justice to Nirbhaya and many other victims of Rapes in India. Still nothing really changed. The most recent case happened with a South Indian Actress. The charges for her  abduction and rape are on another South Indian Superstar.

So how can women feel safe when such incidences are happening on regular basis and there are people with poor mentality.

The latest trends show that demand of Bodyguards are rising. Women are now keeping their own  security. Also there are various self defense training institutes for women, helping them in facing the potential danger.

Just like Indian Army fireball understands the role each person plays in the achievement of goals. The company pays special attention to the employee welfare so that they perform well.

It is not hard to understand the motivation behind these ethics and work culture.  The Fireball CEO Captain Ravee himself is from Army. His father Late Shri BR Magu was a DIG in Border Security Forces.

Our country needs more of this work culture and ethics so that the long gone trust in Private companies can be restored.

During this period of time with Churchill, Thompson traveled over 200,000 miles with him. He saved Churchill’s life for some 20 times on his own, including those times when Churchill’s own fault exposed him to danger.

The stress of his work during his time with Churchill caused Thompson to suffer a breakdown, after that he was discharged from his duties, but within weeks, Thompson had recovered  and returned to his duties. Thompson was so dear to Churchill that when his daughter fell ill, Churchill arranged his doctor for her care and paid the treatment charges.

No matter what, I will not spend a penny on buying security for myself…

That’s what I said to my wife when she insisted on keeping a security guard to protect me.

She knew that I would never spend a penny for such reasons but she never gave up insisting.

I am a jeweler and I have four jewelry Shops in Mathura. Recently I got an offer from my jeweler friend in Bihar’s Darbhanga City. We were childhood friends. He is very famous in Darbhanga City because of his political background.

One day he called and told me about a piece of land in darbhanga, available at very reasonable price. We were already planning to open a new jewelry shop together. So I decided to visit Darbhanga on Saturday for the same.

I reached there in the next morning and he came to pick me up from the station. We directly went to the site and we both found the location very suitable. Everything was fine until my friend told me about the Land mafia who was trying to occupy the land illegally but then he insured me that he will take care of it. I asked nothing else as I knew he will.

I came back to Mathura. I was in my shop when I saw the news on television hung on the wall. It was showing that a former politician and from Bihar, Darbhanga city got attacked by a sharpshooter. However he escaped the danger because of his security guard who shot the attacker on the spot.

Suddenly I got a call from my wife. She was terrified just like me.

Why won’t you listen to me? How will I survive if something happens to you?

    Get a security guard now!

This time I could not say no but I had to call my friend first. I called him and he told the story. It was the land mafia who planned to murder him. He said that “security guard is very loyal to me and I trust him more than anyone”. I told him my situation and he introduced me to Fireball Securitas.

It’s a 19 years old organization with branches all over India. The guards are selected after various level of training and complete background screening. Now I have a loyal security guard with me to protect me from any danger.

    Thank you Fireball!

This is how most of us feel towards our security. We don’t prefer expending money on security because we only act when we feel the real danger or when the harm is already done.

Don’t ignore the signs of Danger, Stay safe with Fireball securitas.
